The Discover More Card offers a Cashback Reward Program that gives cardmembers the chance to earn up to 5% cashback for their purchases. Each quarter there are rotating categories in which you can receive up to 5% cashback. The categories include purchases at restaurants, clothing stores, drug stores, and more. Even after you exceed the specified dollar amount for earning 5% you will then earn 1% on your purchases. How To Earn Cashback Bonus
When you use your Discover Card you can earn cashback on every purchase. Here are the details about how the Cashback Bonus works:

• You can earn 5% Cashback Bonus on category purchases up to the dollar amount of purchases specified in each program. Categories change throughout the year and include categories like travel, home improvement stores, department stores, gas and groceries. In order to be eligible for the 5% cashback you have to sign up for the program. Any category purchase that exceeds the specified amounts will automatically earn up to 1% Cashback Bonus.
• Discover cardmembers can also earn 5% to 20% Cashback Bonus at top online retailers through the exclusive online shopping mall called ShopDiscover.
• You automatically earn up to 1% Cashback Bonus on all your other purchases. You will earn 1% unlimited Cashback Bonus on purchases after your total annual purchases exceed $3000. The purchases that are part of your first $3000 earn .25%. Warehouse purchases like those made at select warehouse clubs, discount stores and their affiliates will earn .25%.

5% Cashback Bonus Details
You can earn 5% Cashback Bonus on category purchases up to the dollar amount of purchases specified in each program. Categories change throughout the year and include categories like travel, home improvement stores, department stores, gas and groceries. You must sign up for each 5% program in order to partcipate. That means when a program changes you will need to sign up again. Here are the current categories for 2010.

• Jan – Mar: Airlines, Hotels, Car Rentals, and Cruises – program ended March 31, 2010.
• Apr – June: Home Improvement, Department Stores, and Clothing Stores – program ended June 30, 2010.
• Jul – Sept: Gas Stations, Movies, Hotels, and Theme Parks – program ended September 30, 2010.
• Sept: Grocery Stores and Drug Stores – program ended September 30, 2010.
• Oct – Dec: Restaurants, Department Stores, Clothing Stores – program ends December 31, 2010.

How To Sign Up
Signing up for the 5% CashBack Bonus program is easy and free. There are two ways to sign up: online or on the phone. You can sign up online at anytime by logging into your Discover Card account. You can sign up once you are there. You can also call Discover customer service at 1-800-DISCOVER (1-800-347-2683). Don’t forget you have to sign up for each program in order to participate. If you signed for a previous category and now the category has changed you must sign up again in order to participate.
