9 Tweeters Every Credit Card Hound Should Follow

by David on May 6, 2009

If you want to stay up-to-date on just about anything, Twitter is the answer. And credit cards are no exception. Whether you want to stay abreast of the latest credit card offers, or want to know what’s happening with credit card legislation, Twitter is your answer. But it’s the answer only if you know who to follow. In addition to following Credit Card Offers IQ on Twitter (of course!), here are 9 other credit card Tweeters worth following:

@takingcharge: CreditCards.com, the #1 credit card site on the Internet, tweets daily on all things credit cards.

@Citi_Forward: Citi has launched a separate Twitter thread for its new card, Citi Forward. If you have the card or are considering it, Citi_Forward is definitely worth following.

@discovercard: Have a Discover Card? If so, Suzanne is there to help. You can learn about new deals, rewards and offers. You can even discuss issues you may be having with your card.

@CreditExperts: From credit.com, get the latest updates from one of the Internet’s top credit card sites.

@creditcardmix: CreditCardMix offers daily updates on the credit card industry.

@CreditCardOffer: You’ll find daily tweets about new credit card offers and deals from the guy behind Plastic Rewards, a site focused on the many rewards credit cards have to offer.

@masteryourcard: Jonathan and Kristy from Master Your Card (love the name! 25 years ago, however, it would have been “Master Your Charge”! I know, I’m showing my age) tweet about all things credit cards. I’ve enjoyed their blog for some time, and their tweets are well worth your time.

@kotakcards: Kotak Mahindra is one of India’s leading financial conglomerates, and it offers news and information about credit cards on an international scale.

@ncn: NCN runs the No Credit Needed blog, and it is worth following for the “keep clear of credit cards” crowd. It’s an important perspective to consider, and nobody does it better than ncn.

Thank you for recognizing Citi Forward as a credit card Tweeter to follow! Twitter helps us keep a meaningful and direct conversation with cardmembers and is a great way to answer their questions, reinforce the responsible use of credit and even help resolve specific questions regarding their account.

We’re definitely encouraged by the response to Citi Forward so far. We hope that you continue to follow us @Citi_Forward.
