The Continental Airlines OnePass® Plus MasterCard from Chase is designed for those who love to fly with Continental Airlines. This card is a travel rewards card that is reserved for those with excellent credit. The card offers a solid rewards program that rewards members for everyday purchases and gives extra rewards when you make Continental Airline purchases.

- First Checked Bag Free – With the OnePass® Plus Card, you and your companions on the same reservation don’t pay for your first checked bag when flying on Continental-operated flights. That can save a family of four up to $200 per round trip.
- Earn two miles for every $1 spent when you purchase tickets from Continental Airlines on your Card
- Earn one mile for every $1 in purchases charged on your Card
- Redeem Miles for Car and Hotel Rewards exclusively as a Cardmember.
Rate Information
The annual percentage rate is 14.24% for both purchases and balance transfers. The APR for cash advances and overdraft advances is 19.24%. The APR can vary based on changes to the prime rate. You will not get charged interest on purchases as long as you pay the full balance by your statement due date. For balance transfers, cash advances, and overdraft advances you will be charged interest starting the day of the transaction. If you are charged periodic interest, the charge will be no less than $1.50.
Rewards Program
The OnePass® Plus Card offers is a travel rewards card that gives members 1 Mile for $1 spent in purchases and 2 Miles for every $1 spent with Continental Airlines. You also earn twice the miles at ShopOnePass, which is the online store. When it comes to redeeming your miles you can do so for Continental Airlines Flights. You can use Miles for Flights on all 27 Star Alliance network airlines. You can Redeem for car rentals and over 60,000 hotel properties around the world or use miles for merchandise and even experiential events. The card offers three different bonuses: a 25,000 miles bonus, a 10,000 miles bonus and a 5,000 mile bonus. You can earn 25,000 bonus miles after your first purchase which is enough for a round-trip reward within the United States (excluding Hawaii). You earn 10,000 bonus miles once you spend $25,000. You also earn an additional 5,000 bonus miles after your first purchase and when you add an authorized user within 2 months of your account opening.

Joseph, the number of miles it takes to get a free ticket depends on a number of factors, including where you are traveling and the class of ticket you want. The folks at Chase or Continental should be able to give you specific details, and Continental will have your frequent flyer number.
