The Linux Fund Visa Signature credit card is designed for those that want to support Linux and open source software. Each time you buy lunch, gas, a new game box, or a big screen, a portion of your “cardholder rewards” becomes a charitable donation to Free and Open Source Software (F/OSS).

One unique feature is that the Linux Fund card currently offers a 0% balance transfer for 12 billing cycles with no balance transfer fee. Although the balance transfer is not as long as others (Citi offers up to 18 months), the no balance transfer fee feature sets this card apart from most balance transfer offers.

In addition to the 0% offer, you also earn 1 point with every net purchase dollar charged to the card. Points can be redeemed once you have accumulated as few as 1,500.

    The Linux Fund Visa comes in 6 months no-interest and 12 months no-interest flavors. Plus there are five different plans and two different card art options. You’ll need to have a care when applying. Some of the 12-month @ 0 APR programs have been closed, but this link should still work:
