chase-perfectcard-mastercardThe Chase PerfectCard MasterCard is designed for those seeking rebates on purchases made at gas stations. It does offer other benefits, including 0% APR introductory rates on purchases and balance transfers. It also offers a reasonable regular purchase APR for those that qualify for what it calls its Elite card.

Chase PerfectCard Gas Rebate

Chase’s PerfectCard MasterCard offers a 6% introductory rebate on gasoline purchases for the first 90 days. Thereafter, cardholders receive a 3% rebate on eligible gasoline purchases. The card also provides a 1% rebate on all other purchases, which makes the PerfectCard a worthy option for those looking for a cash back card.

The 0 APR balance transfer offer is good for six months for those that qualify for Elite or Premium status, and three months for all others. There is a 3% balance transfer fee, with a minimum fee of $5 and no maximum fee.

0% APR Introductory Rates

The PerfectCard offers a 0% APR introductory rate on both purchases and balance transfers. For purchases, the 0 APR rate last for six billing cycles. Thereafter, the rate climbs to either 9.24%, 13.24% or 18.24%, depending on the credit worthiness of the applicant. Chase refers to this tiered interest rate, which is common with many credit cards, as Elite, Premium, and Standard.

Chase PerfectCard Summary

For those looking for a cash back rebate card, particularly on gasoline purchases, the Chase Perfect Card is a reasonable choice. If you qualify for Elite or Premium status, the regular purchase APR is also reasonable. The Chase PerfectCard is not an ideal choice for those looking for a balance transfer credit card or other 0 APR introductory rate offers.
